How we keep prices honest

We don't own a residential network. Owning one means deploying an SDK to millions of consumer devices, which is expensive and comes with thorny consent questions. Instead, we resell from a licensed upstream provider with a clean ethical-sourcing story (opt-in SDK, GDPR/CCPA-compliant). That keeps our costs predictable, which keeps your prices stable.

Our margin per proxy is modest — we make money on volume, not on squeezing individual customers. That's why there's no minimum, no annual lock-in, and 24-hour money-back on first orders.

What we're NOT

• Not an enterprise vendor. If you need a 10,000-IP custom contract with a 24/7 dedicated support engineer, Bright Data is built for that and we'll happily point you there.
• Not a tool for abuse. We have an Acceptable Use Policy that bans DDoS, credential stuffing, phishing, CSAM, and spam. We investigate every abuse report and terminate without refund when warranted.
• Not a free trial. Free proxies attract abusers. Charging $3.99 from day one keeps the network clean for legitimate users.
